We are headed to Hemsedal resort with over 44km of trails, 18 lifts and a healthy 810m of vertical. It has great bars and restaurants, and our lodging is right in the heart of it all. Ski In/Ski Out. 

Our rental apartment has three bedrooms that can accommodate 6 people. Enjoy modern living areas, sweeping views and a fully equipped kitchen. Unwind with an evening of fine dining and wine, or simply drop by the café for coffee and freshly made waffles after a day on the slopes.

Ski resorts in Norway are generally smaller and lower than those in Austria, France, Italy or Switzerland. That said, there is no need for a ski resort to be high elevation this far north of the equator. You can breathe easy while skiing in Norway as Hemsedal tops out at 1,450m above sea level.

Why March 8-14? Longer days, better snow and a good chance to see the Northern Lights during our stay. We will be flying into Oslo and taking a car transfer to the resort, 3 hours north.

If you want to truly experience winter vacation, come to Norway with us. Whilst a little expensive, the payoff is worth it. The people are friendly and polite, the wilderness is breathtaking, and you can eat all the delicious reindeer you want! (Not joking!)
